  5. Book the sauna.

*You can view our hours here to get an idea of when our bodywork and sauna openings overlap allowing for the booking of this dual service

*The bodywork session and sauna will be two separate bookings because the services take place in two separate rooms. You will receive to separate booking confirmations (given that you opted into email communications when setting up you MindBody client profile).

*Booking the bodywork session does not auto book your sauna.

*Our system requires you to book the sauna 30mins after your bodywork session (see example below).

    * example - If you book a 60min Swedish massage at 1:30p you will book your sauna at 3p. You will likely enter the sauna closer to 15mins after your massage ends but the booking system only allows bookings at 30min increments with a buffer of 30mins between each service.

*You can have someone join you for the sauna after your massage and the $10 discount will still apply.

*OUR SAUNA IS PRIVATE. IT IS ALL YOURS FOR THE TIME YOU BOOK IT FOR!

Massage takes place before the sauna because sweating typically continues for an hour or so post-sauna.

Other reasons for massage before sauna include…

  • Improved circulation before heat exposure which can enhance the feeling of muscle looseness and reduce stiffness more effectively

  • Better muscle recovery and soreness relief because Both massage and sauna therapy have evidence for reducing perceived muscle soreness and improving recovery after exercise

  • Potential temporary pain relief as There’s moderate evidence that both massage and heat therapy can reduce chronic musculoskeletal pain
